Homelessness and poverty rob people of their self respect, making it difficult for them to focus on what they can do to improve their own situation. The ArtSpace at HomeFront helps build self-esteem and seeks to improve and enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of it's clients. They believe that the creative process involved in self-expression helps people resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness, and achieve insight.
Holiday cards are now available at Lime Boutique now throughout the holiday season! Support a great cause!
July 22- 25, 2010 (Thursday- Saturday), the Artist Visions Film Festival will celebrate the creative visions of filmmakers from Hunterdon- Bucks County and beyond by featuring outdoor film screenings on the river in the Lambertville Station parking lot, a video installation in the center of town on the Wachovia Bank building, an interactive visual- treasure hunt in-town/ online, a local student film festival at ACME Screening Room and more!
The festival will also feature a "night-club" style party on Saturday, July 24, at the Rago Arts building, with the Lambertville based band Jac: a six piece Latin-European inspired indy-rock/ folk ensemble.
The Artist Visions Film Festival is a project of Friends of Lambertville Library, a tax-exempt non-profit organization.
Each year the festival highlights our region's arts community, the City of Lambertville, the Delaware River, and of course, our favorite fish, the Shad! The Shad Festival has evolved from a local art show into a nationally recognized award-winning event. Shad Fest features the area's finest artists and crafters, great food and family entertainment, but the two-day extravaganza also serves as a venue for local non-profit organizations to raise necessary operating funds.
In celebration of the Shad Festival Lime Boutique is holding it's Annual Porch Sale: Saturday April 25 & Sunday April 26.
